On Sunday 3rd May we had an amazing response to an appeal at the Sunday services for the victims of the Nepal disaster, giving through Shelter Box. Praise the Lord for the generosity of our church family.
Pam, a volunteer Shelter Box speaker, came to our 10 am Sunday morning service but unfortunately couldn’t come in the evening. Her talk was very moving as were our prayers of intercession.
£1,300 was donated by the church family and the PCC agreed to match this from the church accounts. Thus a total of £2,600 was paid over to Shelter Box today via internet banking.
Completed Shelter Box Gift Aid envelopes should raise a further approximate £210.
Shelter Box thought our donation was amazing and sent their thanks to all who gave so generously at St. Budock.
